RXACTIVE is developing next generation fitness and training wear with built-in resistance bands to give athletes an effective, low-impact way to get more out of their workouts. The company, which was co-founded by a medical student from NYU and an olympic silver medalists, seeks to revolutionize the way athletes train.
RXACTIVE was the winner of NYU's $200k Entrepreneurs Challenge - Technology Venture track and were runners up in NYU's InnoVention Competition in 2014. That year they also participated in the NYU Prototyping Fund, which provided them with funding, training, and connections to help them build early prototypes of their first product. In the summer of 2014, the team participated in the NYU Summer Launchpad, and were chosen to receive a grant by Founder.org.
