The NYU Entrepreneurial Institute leads a number of programs and events with the goal of leveling the playing field for underrepresented founders. From networking lunches to loan alleviation grants, read below to learn more about the Institute's Inclusive Entrepreneurship initiative.

  • Tell Me More

    Inclusive Entrepreneurship Forum

    What: Hear from founders and investors from underrepresented communities in tech who are changing the game in their fields, network with fellow entrepreneurs and startup enthusiasts, and get inspired to continue on your startup journey.

    When: Once per semester.

    Female Founders Events

    What: Lunch & learn events, Female Founders Forums, and resources to help founders committed to ending the gender inequity in entrepreneurship grow or scale their startups.

    When: Female Founders Lunches happen monthly. The Female Founders Forum happens once per semester.

    Female Founders Fellowship & Grant

    What: The Fellowship provides extensive training, mentorship, and networking opportunities to student entrepreneurs at NYU who are committed to advancing gender equality in entrepreneurship. Female Founders Fellows can also apply to become Mark & Debra Leslie Fellows and receive loan alleviation grants of up to $50,000.

    When: Application deadlines happen once per semester.

    Max Stenbeck Venture Equity Program

    What: Helps NYU founders building scalable ventures who are committed to diversity, equity and inclusion learn the fundamentals of fundraising.The program is built for venture founders that have early indications of product/market fit and will be ready to raise funding in the next 6 months.

    When: Once per year.
