NYU Networking and Interschool Mixer -

Jack Dorsey, founder of Twitter and Square, speaking at the NYU Entrepreneurship Festival last year said, "Life happens at intersections.”

The NYU Networking and Interschool Mixer, held last Wednesday is just such an intersection.  Students and alumni gathered to mix and mingle outside of their normal program setting in a casual and stimulating environment.

The NYU Entrepreneurship Network, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Association (Poly), Stern’s Entrepreneurship Exchange (EEX), and Stern's Langone Student Government, hosted the event which brought together undergraduates, graduates, and alumni from more than 12 different schools including: NYU Poly, Steinhardt, Gallatin, Wagner, Stern, The School of Law, Stern, and Interaction Telecommunications Program (ITP).

Attendees traded stories and got to know each other while enjoying great food and drink specials at the Half Pint,  situated one block from Washington Square Park.

Graduate students Benjamin Cramer of Gallatin, Daniel Jensen of Wagner, and Edwin Reed-Sanchez of the Interactive Telecommunications Program celebrated the recent launch of Art In Your Space, an innovative program for urban teens to develop technology and career skills by building interactive art installation in co-working space.

Their pilot project received funding from Digital Ready of the New York City Department of Education, City-As School, and AlleyNYC, a co-working space in midtown.

Take a leap into one of the many intersections offered by NYU Entrepreneurship Network and other campus groups.  Join us for future Interschool Mixers and other fun networking opportunities in 2014!
