In New York City there is no shortage of creativity, talent or ideas. What is lacking in this metropolis is space! It seems a never ending challenge to find enough (free) space to collaborate with people from other disciplines for ideas, advice and to build start-up teams.

With this in mind, on January 30th, 4-6 pm NYU-Poly is inviting the NYU community to kick off the Greenhouse – a flexible work and meeting space in the heart of Brooklyn’s Tech Triangle, Metro Tech 6 at NYU–Poly. It is a space to foster innovation, collaboration and cross-pollination of talents across the NYU community and will support the growing entrepreneurial spirit of NYU students. For NYU-Poly it is the first space of its kind: conceived of and ran by students in the spirit of the school’s i²e, Innovation, Invention and Entrepreneurship philosophy.
