This past Wednesday (Oct 26) and Thursday (Oct 27) the NYU Entrepreneurial Institute hosted two Demo Day events in which student startups pitched in front of an audience.

The first (public) NYU Startup Demo Day was last Wednesday, September 26 and was co-hosted  with the W. R. Berkley Innovation Labs. Teams from both centers' summer accelerator programs got to pitch against each other for the first time in a friendly competition. The NYU Summer Launchpad teams presenting included Ballotbox, Aduri, The Diversity Org, We Are The New Farmers, Govern for America, Motivote, HealthHuddle, NextGen Bootcamp, and Sunthetics. Stern Venture Fellows teams included Gravy (aka Grocer8), Mary Taylor Wine, and Pepper. The competition was a great success, and NextGen Bootcamp took home the trophy for the audience choice for best pitch! Check out some photos from the event below.

The second (invitation only) "Friends & Family" Demo Day event was hosted at Two Sigma Ventures, a great modern and open space, and saw some of NYU Summer Launchpad's top teams from this and prior cohorts pitch their ventures to a room filled with NYU alumni, investors and mentors from our programs. In pitching to raise their friends and family round, these startups made the NYU Entrepreneurial Institute team proud. Presenting teams included Ballotbox, My Wellbeing, Food Period, Acculis, Govern for America, Motivote, HealthHuddle, NextGen Bootcamp, and Sunthetics. You can see some pictures from the event below.
