Please join us in welcoming the seven ventures selected for the 2024-2025 cohort of the NYU Tech Venture Accelerator (TVA). From September-February, these teams will partake in a rigorous program of workshops with subject matter experts, receive mentorship from veteran entrepreneurs and investors, and secure $50,000 in milestone-based grant funding from NYU’s Office of the Provost.
The ventures are all alumni of NYU’s Tech Venture Workshop, the earlier-stage research commercialization training program for NYU faculty working on innovative deeptech developed in NYU’s research labs. The next Tech Venture Workshop will take place in the Spring ‘25 semester.
Apply for the Workshop to fulfill the prerequisite for the Tech Venture Accelerator, and attend an info session for the Tech Venture Program on Dec. 11 (virtual) to learn more.
The Accelerator is made possible by the generous gift of NYU alumnus and trustee Mark Leslie (Arts ‘66), and his wife Debra. Participating grant recipients will receive the distinction of becoming Mark and Debra Leslie Fellows.
CARA Systems
Dynamic, noninvasive SaaS triage tool for personalized aneurysm and stroke care. It uses noninvasive 3D imaging blood flow dynamics to reduce healthcare costs and enables physicians to focus on patient-centric care.

Speech visualization software to support speech-language pathologists, children with speech delays, and others aiming to teach or learn new speech skills. Our first product, which provides visual biofeedback for speech deviations affecting the English /r/ sound, is popular among speech-language pathologists (SLPs) because it outperforms existing solutions for a high-prevalence, hard-to-treat speech problem.
