VC Pitchfests

VC Pitchfests are a unique opportunity for current NYU entrepreneurs to present their ventures and innovations to a panel of VC and angel investors and a room full of fellow NYU entrepreneurs in a friendly competition. In the past, presenting teams receive valuable feedback from professional investors representing funds such as Greycroft, Techstars, Two Sigma Ventures, Flybridge Capital and others.

What is the format of the event?

Each team will have six minutes to pitch, followed by three minutes of questions and and three minutes of feedback from the judges. The audience will have a chance to hear from early-stage NYU startups, observe the pitch process, and network with each other.

Audience members will also have the opportunity to vote for their favorite pitch.

When do VC Pitchfests take place?

The IT VC Pitchfest typically take place twice during a semester, and the Healthcare VC Pitchfests typically takes place once a semester. Check our Events Calendar for dates and RSVP details.

Who is selected to pitch?

Three to four teams are invited to pitch their startup businesses to investors and gain feedback. Committed teams that have been working on their venture for a dedicated period are invited by the Entrepreneurial Institute to pitch.

Industry specific investors are invited to serve on each panel.
