Jasmin Hume is the CEO and Founder of Shiru, a technology company that has disrupted the way natural ingredients are discovered and produced via an AI-first approach to screening. The business offers robust AI-powered marketplace, discovery, and partnership solutions to both early-stage innovators and market leaders. Shiru uncovers performance ingredients for people & planet and works with CPGs, ingredients, and chemicals companies to enable them to hit ambitious ESG goals by innovating from inside the package without compromising on product quality. Shiru’s based in Berkeley, CA and backed by world class VCs including S2G Ventures and Lux Capital.

Jasmin is a serial entrepreneur, partner at XFactor Ventures, polyglot, and mom of two awesome kids. Jasmin is passionate about mentoring and inspiring entrepreneurs and leaders, particularly women and those building deep tech approaches for climate. She is an alum of Y Combinator and holds advanced degrees from NYU, Chalmers University, and McGill University.
