Hi Everybody!
Welcome to a new week at the Leslie eLab! Though winter may be holding a tight grip on the city, we won't let it slow us down! And neither should you! The Leslie eLab is always a safe haven from the cold where you can focus on building your startup, prototyping your products, or increasing your network of likeminded students and faculty. On top of that, we are here to make sure that our services, resources, and events help you become a more knowledgeable and skilled entrepreneur!
Check out these events I want to highlight for this week:
Tuesday, February 10
VC Pitchfest
5:45pm - 7:30pm
Watch student and faculty entrepreneurs share their ideas, practice their pitches, and receive feedback from investors, fellow NYU entrepreneurs, and the broader entrepreneurial community.
Each team will have five minutes to pitch to investors, followed by ten minutes of questions and feedback from investors & the audience
Thursday, February 12
Introduction to Intellectual Property*
5:30pm - 7:00pm
Join Mindey Bickel from the USPTO for a discussion about what all inventors, entrepreneurs, small businesses, and start-ups should know about Intellectual Property and how to leverage the resources provided internally on the campus and from additional networks!
*Please note that this event is only open to NYU Masters, PhDs, Post Docs, and faculty.
Hoping to see you all soon in the Leslie eLab,
Chris
