We asked Caroline a few questions so you can get to know her better! Check out her answers below!
Tell us a little about yourself. How did you find your way to the Leslie Entrepreneurial Institute? What aspects of the role are you most excited to tackle?
I'm a storyteller at heart. I earned my BFA in Theatre Arts (Directing), where I became fascinated by how stories can inspire people to think differently and take action. That passion naturally led me into marketing, where I've spent the past few years helping startups and mission-driven organizations communicate big ideas in meaningful ways.
What drew me to the Leslie Entrepreneurial Institute is the opportunity to combine those two worlds. I love working with creative people who are solving interesting problems, and I'm excited to help share the stories of NYU's founders, students, and innovators.
What draws you to working with startups?
I love the energy of startups being around people who are building something from the ground up. There's so much creativity, curiosity, and willingness to try new ideas. Every founder has a different story and a different mission, and I enjoy helping them share that with others.
What do you like to do outside of work?
Outside of work, I’m a swimmer, biker, and runner. Swimming is half my personality in addition to a good cup of coffee.
Share a fun fact
I've lived in Pittsburgh, Chicago, and now New York City. I can confirm I'll always root for the Steelers, Chicago has my favorite architecture, but New York is my favorite place to be.
