Background on Team

After meeting through NYU's Venture Fellows Program, Uzma Samadani (Faculty, School of Medicine) and Robert Ritlop (Stern '14) developed eye-tracking neurodiagnostic technology focused on brain injuries and concussions. The technology assesses the function of eye nerves as a subject watches television for a short time. The company won NYU's $200,000 Entrepreneurs Challenge (technology track) in 2013 and have since closed a seed round of funding.

What they learned
“The intersection between innovation and medicine is really important…if you have a technology that is less expensive and more diagnostic, it will be accessible to everybody and that’s what we want to do"
