The Week Ahead at the Leslie eLab

Hi everybody!

I hope that midterms went well for all of you! It has been great to see such a great number of students come in to work on their startups in the Leslie eLab, despite their obligations for school. We are thrilled that so many of you are excited to have a space on campus where they can build their ventures, connect to other entrepreneurs, and learn everything they need to know to start up well!

I know that NYU is taking a short fall break this week, but that does not slow us down at the Leslie eLab! Here are a few events I would like to point out to you:

How to Start a Startup with Sam Altman

Everything you need to know about how to build a startup from some of the world experts.
This video broadcast MOOC covers how to come up with ideas and evaluate them, how to get users and grow, how to do sales and marketing, how to hire, how to raise money, company culture, operations and management, business strategy, and more. Tech@NYU facilitates class discussions.

Vetrepreneurs: How to Turn Military Success into Business Success

Startup Lunch and Learns: UX DESIGN

This event will certainly be a highlight of the week! Michael DelGaudio will be leading a talk on product design and user experience. He is Executive Creative Director at Frog Design Studio, NYC, a global design and innovation firm that seeks to advance the human experience through its designs.

Bäro App Beta Launch
7:30pm - 9:00pm
Bäro is a new platform for on-demand renting of everyday goods. The team has been tirelessly working in the Leslie eLab and are ready to beta test their app. Join this NYU startup for this beta version launch event and help them get their startup to the next level!
