The NYU Female Founders Fellowship provides community support, training, mentorship, and networking opportunities to NYU entrepreneurs in STEM. Fellows represent the best in class founders at NYU building scalable, differentiated ventures who are committed to advancing gender equity in entrepreneurship.
We're looking for extraordinary entrepreneurs to join our Female Founders Community! Interested in joining the Fellowship's Spring ‘26 cohort? This Fall, we're thrilled to welcome the following nine new members into the Fellowship:
Anastasia Dor (Tisch '24), Co-Founder of Mentivista
Bio: Anastasia brings global experience across business and education, including five years running a licensed vocational school. A trained social scientist, her research focused on diversity, creativity, and innovation. She holds an MS in Communications from Northwestern, an MA in Interactive Media from NYU Tisch, and recently completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship (2024–25) at Tisch, supporting a global graduate program in interactive media.
Mentivista is an AI-powered Learning Management System reimagining training for the beauty and wellness industry. They empower professionals to thrive through bespoke micro-learning and help multi-location salons, spas, and medispas scale team performance with consistency.

Bakhtawer Baloch (SPS '26), Co-Founder of Clairdoc
Bio: Bakhtawer is an ex-Deloitte and TikTok professional and a two-time founder who bootstrapped a consulting and billing company to $0.5M profit serving 400+ doctors. She is now building Clairdoc, an AI-powered healthcare startup, while pursuing her Master's in Management and Systems at NYU with a focus on data and AI, and conducting research at NYU Langone on machine learning for cancer detection.
Clairdoc is the "Grammarly for medical billing" that prevents costly claim denials before submission using AI-powered Denial DNA™.

Helanah Warren (SPS '26), Founder of Thrive By Design
Bio: Helanah is a nationally board-certified health coach and NYU-trained executive coach who merges wellness, AI, and leadership development to help women thrive personally and professionally. Her work focuses on resilience, sustainable growth, and systemic change.
Thrive by Design is a holistic leadership and wellness accelerator that helps women leaders solve burnout, stress, and lack of sustainable support by merging evidence-based coaching, integrative wellness practices, and AI-powered tools into a scalable 9-week program and digital platform.
Julia Kingsley (Stern '26), Co-Founder of Context Data
Bio: Julia has experience in Private Equity at Blackstone and PwC. She is a former soccer player turned NARP (Non-Athletic Regular Person), and a two-time NYU Stern alum.
Context Data is a technology platform that helps small-to-mid sized property & casualty insurance carriers and third-party administrators improve communication and efficiency through an AI-powered, web-based claims tracker.

Sandra Cai (CAS '27), Founder of Plurall AI
Bio: Sandra blends entrepreneurial and corporate experience, having previously contributed to research and software development at Microsoft, JD.com, and several early-stage startups, alongside building and exiting her own ventures from a young age. At Plurall AI, she leverages her expertise in AI/ML, systems design, and blockchain, combined with her cross-disciplinary fluency in philosophy and education, to lead product innovation and AI model training.
Plurall AI provides proprietary homegrown AI models to social media and web browser services to help them solve deepfake-based misinformation, disinformation, identity theft and impersonation by protecting their brand with their fully controlled GaussMass engines.

Sophie Lee (Tisch '24), Co-Founder of Mentivista
Bio: Sophie is a product designer who specializes in the AI B2B SaaS space. Her expertise is leading the end-to-end design process for startups building complex AI/ML-powered products, taking a core idea from initial concept to a shipped V1.

Tatiana Moreira (Dentistry Postdoc '25), Co-Founder of GEM Dental Design
Bio: Tatiana is a dentist with over 15 years of experience in implants and aesthetic dentistry. As the director of two clinics in Paraguay, she has advanced training in digital workflows, CADCAM, 3D printing, and guided surgery.
GEM Dental Design is a platform that connects dentists with expert designers to streamline case planning, design, and fabrication. Our platform addresses the common challenges of case management and lab communication, improving digital experience for both dentists and patients.
Terezia Juras (Abu Dhabi '26), Co-Founder of MyoMetricsMRI
Bio: Terezia is a Bioengineering and Computer Science student committed to research with real societal impact, where she has co-authored work on ML-based frailty prediction in Frontiers in Aging. In addition to being the founder of MyoMetricsMRI, she is also the founder of the nonprofit mMEDCON, which has engaged 900+ students across 12 countries through KaSMED, the Medical Problem-Solving Contest, and the mMEDCON Summer Academy.
MyoMetricsMRI is an AI-powered MRI analysis software pipeline to help pediatric neurologists, radiologists and clinical researchers detect and monitor neuromuscular and neurodegenerative diseases early, addressing the limitations of delayed, costly, and invasive diagnostic methods.

Zoey Ferguson (Tisch '25), Co-Founder of Sheltrium
Bio: Zoey is an entrepreneur, biologist (B.S Biology, Microbiome research lab at Verily), multidisciplinary artist (NYU ITP), professional figure skater (NYU Skating team, Chelsea Piers staff coach) and occasional farmer (U.S., Australia, Ecuador) from Alaska.
Sheltrium is a personalized marketplace focused on residential storm resilience; helping suburban storm victims find the product they need to stay home and save money, while improving customer conversions and market reach for sustainable brands.
