Oscar Yapor is the Co-Founder and CEO of Espiritu, a curated luxury marketplace connecting Latin America's most talented designers with customers around the world. After earning a degree in Industrial Engineering from Colorado State University ('16), Oscar spent two years as a mining engineer operating mines in Chile, Colombia, and Mexico, while also selling handmade Mexican leather sandals on weekends to pay off his student loans faster. With no retail or fashion experience, he turned that side project into his full-time company. Today Espiritu sells across Asia, Australia, and Europe, exhibits at trade shows during Paris and New York Fashion Weeks, and runs stores in Mexico City and San Miguel de Allende, with Oaxaca and Mérida opening soon. Oscar is currently pursuing his MBA at NYU Stern ('27).
