Pre-Seed Financing Essentials

Pre-seed financings help startups get their operations off the ground and serve as a bridge to subsequent equity financing rounds. This presentation will discuss the essentials of SAFEs, convertible notes and other pre-seed financings and what you need to know in order to set your company up for success.

Jonathan Sagot

Jonathan represents clients in complex corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, investments and financings. He advises tech-enabled emerging companies throughout their growth lifecycle, from their formation to series financings to exit. In his varied background, Jonathan has represented companies and acted as general outside counsel for clients in the software, digital health, life sciences, proptech, blockchain, advertising, communications, media, e-commerce, food and beverage, and fashion and beauty industries.
