Tech Venture TeamUp (TVT) pairs NYU researcher teams with NYU Stern MBA and other Masters student talent to accelerate the commercialization journey for early-stage deep tech & life science innovations stemming from the university’s research labs. TVT builds on a successful model of NYU researcher-MBA/Masters collaborations that helped launch ventures like Oraliva and Vital Audio. Over a three-month incubation period, research teams gain business-focused teammates who expand their go-to-market capacity, while MBA/Masters students gain hands-on experience bringing an emerging technology to market. Both parties have the opportunity to co-found a venture together based on cutting-edge NYU research. Teams receive $1,000 in reimbursable customer discovery expenses + $2,500 bonus for two finalist winners.
