What you'll learn:

Students will learn how to design and implement custom technology for their business using no-code tools—no technical background required—and gain the practical skills to get their business up and running right away!

More about the speaker:

Bethany Crystal builds at the intersection of ideas, people, and products. As Founder & CEO of Build First AI (buildfirst.ai), she leads hands-on AI workshops that help teams go from idea to working prototype in under three hours. She is also building MuseKat, an audio-first learning companion designed to spark curiosity and critical thinking in the AI age.

With 15 years of experience across startups, venture, and public-sector partnerships, she connects emerging tech with real-world application—launching NYC micro-internships, scaling grant programs for a crypto-native VC fund, and hosting AI + education activations. She is known for bringing together builders, bridging disciplines, and turning momentum into action.

More on Build First AI (buildfirst.ai):

Build First is an AI learning lab founded by Bethany Crystal (formerly of Union Square Ventures, Tech:NYC, and Stack Overflow) that teaches teams and leaders to build real AI tools quickly and without technical backgrounds. Using the POP-IT no-code framework, Build First has trained 1,500+ people ranging from ages 8-80 on how to create their first AI-powered mini-apps and workflow
