Hi Everybody!
I hope you all had a great first week back on campus and are excited about your classes! We sure were happy to see so many of you return to the Leslie eLab, or visit for the first time ever! The Leslie eLab is here for all your entrepreneurial needs and startup questions - in addition to our amazing workspace and resources, we have some incredible events coming up this semester. We already had an awesome start, kicking the spring semester off with a number of well attended events like Brian Siegel's "Not-So-Obvious-Hacks for Turning an Idea into a Startup Company."
And we are certainly keeping the momentum this week with these events:
Wednesday, February 4
Intro to Circuits and Arduino
6:00pm - 8:00pm
David Rios, one of our Prototyping Lab Guardians, will teach you the basics of working with circuit boards and how you can utilize the Arduino platform to build hardware and software prototypes. This is an incredible opportunity for all of you who are looking to develop new tech products but don't have the necessary skills yet! Instead of relying on others - learn how to do it yourself!
Thursday, February 5
Business Model Innovation & Lean Startup Tools
6:00pm - 7:30pm
Innovation can be risky. But you can decrease the risks associated with innovation using various tools and following certain concepts. Alexander Osterwalder will present the latest Business Model Innovation and Lean Startup tools that will undoubtedly help you develop your value proposition, business model, or progress board, and will make you a more successful entrepreneur!
Hoping to see you all soon in the Leslie eLab,
Chris
