About the speaker: Dave Sorin is Chair of the Venture Capital & Emerging Growth Companies practice, a member of the firm’s Executive Committee, and office managing partner of the East Brunswick office. His national practice focuses on representing privately- and publicly-owned startup, emerging growth technology, tech-enabled and life science enterprises as well as the investors, executives, and directors who support or lead them. He has been a leader in representing investors and companies employing cutting edge technologies in a broad range of sectors, including software, telecommunications, life sciences, information technology, e-commerce, mobile communications and applications, Internet-of-Things, artificial intelligence and machine learning, augmented and virtual reality, fintech, proptech, blockchain, smart contracts and digital currencies. Effective immediately through at least June 1, Startup School workshops will be conducted virtually as part of a larger NYU effort to not bring large groups of guests and members of the NYU community together in a single venue.
