Join the NYU Entrepreneurial Institute via ZOOM for a networking lunch from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM to meet local female founders and investors. Our guest speaker, Jessica Weiss, CEO and Co-Founder of Trix, will share her startup stories and we’ll discuss resources for female founders in creating innovative businesses at NYU.
More about this month's speaker: Jess is the CEO and Co-founder of Trix, a media company made by women, for women, featuring the work of journalists and artists all over the world who tap into local perspectives on timely issues that advance and protect the quality of women’s lives around the world.
Jess looks after Trix's strategic partnerships and overall business operations, and leverages her organizational psychology background to steep Trix’s editorial in research-backed tools for women’s media equality. She frequently speaks at women’s leadership conferences and podcasts on the psychological impact of gender bias, stereotype threat, and positive role models in the media.
