Entrepreneurial Institute

The Week Ahead at the Leslie eLab

Hi Everybody!

I hope that a lot of you could join us at the 2015 Entrepreneurs Festival and took inspiration from your keynote speakers, panels, and roundtables and are eager to start your own startup or continue to build your venture. It was great to see the energy and passion of students and alumni at the startup showcase and how innovative their ventures are! If you would like to be part of the showcase but are not quite ready to put your show on the road, we are always happy to help you out with questions about your startup, building your skills, and making sure you have everything you need to be a successful entrepreneur!

Check out these events which will help you start up better!

Tuesday, March 10
Idea Generation and Lean Analytics
6:00pm - 8:00pm
It often happens to entrepreneurs that they have a lot of ideas but don't necessarily know which one is the best. One way to validate your idea is to prototype quickly, cheaply, and efficiently and see what works. Learn from prototyping guru Ryan Jacoby of machine.io some of the tried and true processes that can get you on track in no time!

Wednesday, March 11
Ruby on Rails: Workshop Pt. 1
6:00pm - 8:00pm
Having skills in-house can be crucial for startups to build fast and iterate quickly. The Ruby on Rails workshop series will help you understand this dynamic, reflective, and object-oriented programming language and teach you how to use it to your advantage when building apps and websites.
